I think this is such a fun party idea.  In September my daughter in law had a birthday party for my 6 year old granddaugher, and they created gemstone encrusted goblets.  The girls had a great time, but they also love making jewelry with me.  These settings and crystals would make it so easy for the little 6 year olds to make their own jewelry.  They have an activity and a party favor all in one.
