You will have two very delicious Cherry Peach Coolers

Now for my Favorite Blog Links of the week. I am doing things a little differently starting this week.  I get so many wonderful links in my parties on Wednesdays, and I pick the featured links by how many page views each one gets.  Well last week I started picking my Friday Favorite Blog Links from among the posts from the party.  So now, when you join the party, you have two chances of being featured and pinned on Pinterest also.

So, are you ready?  Here are this weeks Favorite Blog Links.

If you are one of today's featured bloggers, grab the featured button from the sidebar.

I hope you enjoy this weeks Cherry Peach Cooler for Friday's Happy Hour and also this weeks Favorite Blog Links.  I always love hearing from you, so send me your comments.

Have a great week.
Enjoy!!!

Chicken Casserole

I am a total comfort food addict.  So today, I am giving you my recipe for Chicken Casserole.  Most of you probably had it as a kid.  It is an old standby that has not changed a lot over the years.  The only thing that I have changed over time is that I use fresh chicken and mushrooms in it rather then canned chicken and canned mushrooms.

So today I present you with my recipe for:

Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

2 16 oz container sour cream
2 cans creams of mushroom soup
1 rotisserie chicken (skinned, boned, and cubed)
1 16 oz container sliced mushrooms
1 tsp italian herbs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb cheddar jack cheese
1/4 cup corn flake crumbs
1 lb wide egg noodles cooked

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 inch casserole dish with non stick spray.

Mix sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, chicken, italian herbs, salt, garlic powder, pepper.

Next mix in cooked egg noodles.

Put into casserole dish.

Spread cheese on top.

Then sprinkle corn flake crumbs on top of cheese.

Next bake for 45 minutes.

Once done, pull out of the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 12 servings.

I hope you enjoy my recipe for chicken casserole.  Let me know what you think.  I'm always happy hearing from you.

Enjoy!!!

A few weeks ago I saw a recipe for Homemade Soft Scrub on One Good Thing by Jillee.  Now if you follow me, you know I just cleaned and organized under my sink, and I was looking for a natural version of Soft Scrub, and this fit the bill.  Jillee got this recipe from Emily at Live Renewed, who I love, love, love all of her natural products.  So today we have Homemade Soft Scrub.

Homemade Antibacterial Soft Scrub

Ingredients:

3/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup Dr. Bonners Liquid Castille Soap
1 TB water
15 drops Lemon essential oil
1 TB vinegar.

Directions:

Mix baking soda, castille soap, water, and lemon essential oil in a bowl, until well mixed.

Slowly add the vinegar.  It will bubble up because of the reaction between the baking soda and the vinegar.

I used a funnel to get it into an old dish liquid bottle.

I used the lemon essential oil, because I love the smell, and it has antibacterial properties, which I felt was an added plus.

Jillee, had said that she made it thicker with more baking soda, but I thought it was fine the way it was.  So, I stuck with the regular recipe.

Clean sink

This worked great in my kitchen sink.   I was blown away by how well it worked.  I am definitely, never buying it again, when I can make it this easily, and it is all natural, and it only took about 3 minutes to make.  It took longer to get everything out to make it, then it did to make it.

I hope that you like this recipe for Homemade Soft Scrub.  It is easy to make and will save you lots of money, and you are not using any chemicals.  Three great things.  I always love hearing from you, so send me your comments.

Enjoy!!!
