Ice Cream Sundae Cupcake |
As you can see, I have been busy over the last couple of days with changes to the look of Adorned From Above. I made a mistake and accidentally changed the template the day before yesterday, and decided to bite the bullet and make lots of changes. I am now going to need to do a post on how to use pic monkey to make a header, but that must wait for another day.
Anyway, last weekend I made these great ice great little Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes and if I do say so myself, they were delicious. Not only did they taste great, but they were also really cute and everyone loved them. So here it is, the recipe for Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes.
Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes
Ingredients:
3 pints of ice cream (your favorite flavors, I used caramel cone crunch, chocolate, and vanilla bean)
12 oreo cookies
hot fudge sauce ( warmed up )
12 pretty cupcake liners
Directions:
Put cupcake liners in a 12 count muffin pan.
Put and oreo in the bottom of each cupcake cup.
Put ice cream on top of each oreo to about 1/2 to 1/3 of the bottom of the muffin cup.
Put 1 tablespoon hot fudge sauce on top of the ice cream.
Then put a large scoop of ice cream on top of the hot fudge sauce. So it is mounded over the top of the muffin pan and looks like a baked cupcake.
I made 3 different flavors, but you could do as many as you want.
I put in the freezer for a few hours before I served them.
Makes 12 Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes.
This was such a pretty dessert and so easy. I would love to hear what you think of them. I always love to hear from you.
Enjoy!!!

Think even I could make those - if only I had access to Oreo cookies these days! The mouth just waters thinking about them!
ReplyDeleteHey isobel,
DeleteYou could use any kind of cookie that you have available. That's the great thing about cooking, at least this recipe is not written in stone. Have a great day.

DeleteThese were so good. It is a good thing that I have a 24 year old ex marine living at home right now. He eats everything and saves me from myself.
