21:21 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will do not only what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea," it will happen!

These two verses tell us that faith is the answer to all we need. Faith in Jesus, in his word, in the spirit within us, and in God us can achieve anything, but we must have faith. Faith is the belief in things not seen.
I can not see the spirit within me, but I have faith that I am filled with the spirit. Jesus told us that if we have faith we are strong enough to lift the mountains and throw them into the sea. If we have faith, and we ask for something in a prayer we will receive.
Sometimes in times of trouble we forget that our faith in God is all we need. It is the answer. You just have to let go and leap. God will catch us in our leap of faith. He is always there, and he is the answer.

ReplyDeleteLove that picture! Being so close to such important historical places related to our Lord is an experience I'd love to have as well!
AND, knowing that faith is a gift from God, well that's such a huge relief isn't it? Since our faith isn't something we muster up in ourselves to have, it's all up to God ! Awesome!
