Cream Cheese Roll Ups Low Carb
My friend Susanne introduced me to these Cream Cheese Roll Ups a long time ago. I mean a really long time ago. They were not low carb (we didn't worry about carbs in the 80's and early 90's), but they sounded so good today that I decided to make them with my low carb tortillas. They taste great, and can be eaten as an appetizer or lunch, like what I did today.
Cream Cheese Roll Ups Low Carb
Ingredients
2 Mission Low Carb Tortillas 12 Carbs
1 12 oz whipped Cream Cheese 30 Carbs
1 can sliced olives with jalepenos drained 4 Carbs
1 can chopped olives drained 8 Carbs
1/2 cup sliced green onions 1 Carb (I used freeze dried, because I did not have fresh)
Total Carbs 55 Carbs
20 pieces - each piece is 2.5 carbs
Mix cream cheese, both cans of olives, and green onions in a bowl.
Once well mixed separate in half, and put each half of the tortillas.
Spread cream cheese mixture on the tortilla.
Roll tortilla up.
Slice so that you have 10 slices from each tortilla.
I hope that you enjoy this recipe. It is easy and delicious. I would love to hear what you think about this recipe and what easy low carb appetizers you like to make.
Enjoy!!!

I have a recipe for a cheese ball, made with about the same ingredients. It's delicious. . .so I'll have to try your roll ups--I know they'll be wonderful!

Thanks for the comment on my kiddie play sink :) And these low carb roll-ups look great (minus the black olives- I hate black olives)! I'm going to pin them :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was really cute. Thanks for pinning the roll ups.

I love these, but haven't had them since I started Weight Watchers. I hadn't thought about making a low carb version. I'll have to crunch the numbers and see if I can work them into my daily allowance. I bet I can! Thanks for posting the recipe! :) (I DO love those Mission low carb tortillas! We eat them all the time.)
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy,
DeleteI hope they work on Weight Watchers. I know you can cut calories if you use low fat cream cheese. I do Atkins, I haven't done Weight Watchers for a long time. I have a friend who has had huge success on their program, like 140 lbs, so good luck.
Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you will come back soon.
